I've been pretty good with finishing games this generation. The two games that come to mind that I didn't finish (but put a lot of hours into) are Tales of Vesperia and Final Fantasy XIII. Tales was a fun game that I just unfairly cast aside when Fallout 3 came out and never went back to. FFXIII I put a ton of

That's horrible. My best wishes to her and her family. I hope she's able to recover from this accident.

3-5 hours is weak but that wouldn't bother me too much. I mainly use my handhelds on the T traveling to and from work. I won't use it more than an hour or two a day in that fashion. Also if I'm using it at home I'd have ready access to charge it whenever. I totally understand what you mean though. It seems like I

I can mostly tolerate escort missions. Depends on the A.I. I suppose. Dead Rising was a nightmare escorting survivors back to the security room. I still haven't got "Frank The Pimp" or some similar achievements because of how frustrating it was. DR2 was much better but still had it's moments.

I got to say I also disagree with you on RE4. I HATED Ashley before the game was done. Great game, but those were the worst moments of the game. ICO I totally agree with you on. Beautifully done.

I'm really looking forward to revisiting these two games all purdied up.

This is very good news. I hope it actually happens. I kind of want to replay the original (and it's sequel). I need to dig out my DreamCast out of the closet. Or maybe Sega could re-release it via XBL or PSN? That would be lovely.

Fillion would have been a good choice over Wahlberg. But there's a laundry list of actors who would be better than Mark Wahlberg in this role. Don't get me wrong, I like Marky Mark. He's a more than capable actor when he plays to his strengths. I also like most of David O. Russell's films as well. But everything

I'm looking forward to this game. I really love that 40's & 50's era Los Angeles that James Ellroy writes about. I'm not quite ready to put down a preorder just yet but I like what I see/read so far.

Didn't realize there was a fourth game (the 3DS game being the fifth) that hadn't come out stateside yet. Well, hopefully both games come out eventually. The fourth was a prequel apparently so maybe they'll skip it and focus on the 3DS sequel?

Is Layton going to be available at launch in the U.S.? Or am I needlessly getting my hopes up?

Apology accepted!

It's like a cross between Alan Wake and Muppets Take Manhattan.

That game should be renamed Murphy's Law.

I'm not going to pretend to understand patent laws very well. I just hope folks in the Netherlands get their PS3 on again soonish.

The cake may or may not be a lie. Probably a lie.

Interesting. A new GTA would be a nice announcement at this year's E3. I just hope they bring back some of the features and overall wackiness that San Andreas had. At least bring back bicycles!

I'm not as familiar with Beverly as I am with Salem, Lynn and other cities in the area. My guess is it's long gone. Not too many stores like that are around still.

I probably won't get one anytime near launch but I'm definitely interested in the 3DS. I can justify the purchase since I never upgraded my original DS to a Lite or DSi. The lack of 3DS games I'm interested (at least at around launch) isn't offputting as there's plenty of DS games I still need to get around to

Same. I was totally caught off guard by the trade. They lost game 7 last year because he was out with a knee injury he got in game 6. Both O'Neils seem perpetually injured. I'm just not sure what going through Ainge's head.
