While they were simply a costume accessory for many years, the Star Wars Rebels cartoon first identified them as “Code Cylinders” - essentially keyfobs to get into secure locations. They feature in Mando Season 2 (Chapter 12: The Siege), which I believe is the first time we’ve seen them used in live action.

I had NO idea that was Claudia Black. Cool!

I like the kintsugi thing with the star destroyer and the uniforms, it is definitely something that art nerd Thrawn would do to hide how piecemeal and thin his power base is. He would make a cobbled together army seem like a strength rather than a weakness.

They built a empire then got wiped out from one of the many wars in the galaxy they ended up devolving to the point where they lost most of their knowledge, which the exiled Jedi ended up rebuilding.

It wasn’t a flattening that was just people making assumptions. Nothing in the show said there weren’t other tribes, they weren’t pertinent to the story so they just weren’t brought up.

He may have been overshadowed by the first appearance of Thrawn, but Eman Esfandi was pitch-perfect as Ezra.

Also I mentioned this in the Spoiler thread but can we take a second to appreciate that DAVID TENNANT SAID THE FUCKING THING. We just need Peter Cullen to recite the Green Lantern Corps Oath while he’s with us.

Great solid episode. Really loved almost everything about it. Seeing Thrawn and hearing the organ music and then Ezra with the Rebels music was great! They know how to hit all their marks.

I appreciate that they didn’t drag the search for Ezra out beyond this episode and thus avoiding ridiculous fan theories that Enoch was gonna be Ezra for “reasons”.

The only thing the sequel trilogy deserves is hate. Put this trash in the toilet and flush it down.

“The Star Wars poster the sequels deserve”

Now just imagine if they sequels were worth watching at all.

The only thing those movies deserve is a hearfelt apologie from the makers.

Uh, no, those posters are far better than what they deserve. The ones they got were already too good for them.

Those do look pretty swell. I’m glad the sequels got the posters they deserve. Maybe by some miracle they can get the movies they deserve.

I wouldn’t describe Zeus as being a “big” player in the books, but he definitely turns up multiple times over the course of the series. That said, while it’s not a particular plot point for Zeus in the books, all Greek gods have at least some ability to alter their appearances (including Zeus, who’s been a swan, a

I enjoyed the show as a fan of the manga and anime. The changes were noticeable but understandable to keep pace and build the world up quicker than the slower build up in the manga.

Don’t leave is hanging, what character was it nyuuuu?

I just finished watching it and really enjoyed it. I wasn’t overly familiar with any of the other versions but live action will always require some changes. My only complaint is that there were only eight episodes. Hopefully a potential season 2 will be a bit longer.
