Relax, this car is probably safer than all the vehicles ever created prior to the year 2000. Things getting safer is good but at a certain point we’re talking about marginal gains and it gets proportionally more expensive for consumers.

Yup, HD engines are low rev’ing, hydraulic valves, with pushrods and loads of displacement. On top of that they have separate engine, transmission and primary oil sumps so everything stays separate and clean. Plus they have very sophisticated cooling systems that are really only designed to look old fashioned.

Dude lives in Ohio. Plenty of cheap, reasonable real estate.

Harleys are pretty reliable. The AMF years ended 40 years ago. Tons of 100,000+ mile big twins running around with just maintenance.
