Was there an actual scientific reason found for the throttle pedal fiasco?

Seriously, for the cost of a Nissan Versa you can have a death-trap exotic that will probably never be worth a dollar less unless you wrap it around a telephone pole.
Live by the fad-sters, die by the fad-sters.
They sell them. It’s called a Fit.
You don’t know any young adults that buy...Honda Civics?
The only thing I see Hydrogen working for is long haul trucks with regular routes. Hydrogen sidesteps some of the range and weight issues with EVs which are big problems with commercial trucking.
Stock Jeeps typically don’t have those issues. Slap on some badly balanced cheap Chinese mud terrains on your eBay knockoff faux-beadlocks with a cheap body lift in the mix though...
Depends on where you live. In SoCal you’ll probably never ford a river, like ever.
I’d honestly be embarassed to drive a G Wagon. Just makes you look like a clueless rich euro-bro.
I think it’s pretty wild that VW is like “na, no need to sell a truck in the USA” but sells 3 sedans.
The current social media trend is “let the corporate accounts adhere to the user culture of their specific platforms” so on Twitter they write them snarky and “clapbacky”.
As a lifelong democrat, give it a rest. Nobody gives a shit about your half-baked political snark posts.
The Captiva is a ultra budget Chinese SUV. In no way is it a better vehicle than the US domestic market Blazer. Man, Jalopnik has gone down the drain...
Counterpoint - don’t give a shit what others think. Woopy, someone might think you’re a tourist, let’s make that the basis for all my decisions moving forward.
I’ve driven all around Hawaii and the roads are awesome compared to Southern California and you don’t exactly need a rugged 4x4 to drive around some Los Angeles suburb.
If people in the US were more empathetic of their neighbors and fellow citizens we would have one standard and individual states wouldn’t need to dictate emission standards.
They bailed out of regular race series because of the Japanese.
I literally own a Mazda 3
Best handling slow non-performance car at a given price point. Yay.
I owned a Mazda 3. I think their new designs look awful and if you want a real performance car you get a Honda Civic, a WRX or a GTI
