Sedans are “garbage”? Oh please. You can barely do anything with a two door hatchback. I know because my friend has one and it fits nothing and I ended up having to drive all the time. My Honda Civic sedan would take two 8ft surfboards with the seats folded down.

I think we just need to rethink cars in general. Imagine if half the cars on the road was Changli sized but with electric motors or with smooth, modern motorcycle engines? I live in gridlock’d Los Angeles and that would make the whole city functional again.

Plus now they could put a DCT and fuel injection on it so you wouldn’t have to remove a ton of bodywork at any point. The Pacific Coast had a 800cc V-Twin so not exactly a tiny motor. I imagine they’d use their NC750 Ptwin engine like they share with the Africa Twin.

Not that cars are phones but imagine if Samsung or Apple released 4 different lines of phones under 4 different brands (and 2 are straight duplicates) and each one tried to sabotage each other’s features

Hm...I hope so. So many up and coming riders have been pitched as having Marquez level talent. I honestly don’t think we’ll see another Marquez in another 20 years or more though.

Is that still an actual thing? Where one division of GM won’t “let” another division have a certain model/engine/tech? I thought that was some kooky swinging 60's/70's thing.

About 24 hours ago, a KTM outright winning any MotoGP race, even with Marquez injured, was basically unthinkable.

“Soulstory” is the most cringeworthy marketing term I’ve heard all week.

Stop going to dealers or googling every problem. Use your eyes, hands and feet and crawl under your vehicle. On your MT transmissions I bet you’ll find two 19mm plugs - one on the bottom, one in the middle. Just because the marketers decided that the fluid was “lifetime” doesn’t mean the engineers did.

As much as I love it, I feel like it’s gonna fail. It’s too good but it doesn’t scream I AM RICH when illegally driving 150mph in the shoulder of the 101 freeway.

If you buy a manual transmission 4 cylinder truck with manual stuff there isn’t much to actually go wrong. And anything that needs fixing is usually super cheap off Rock Auto or Amazon.

Not that I disagree with you but manuals need fluid changed a lot more often than autos. That said, it’s typically a drain and fill procedure that takes 10 minutes max.

Yeah, $350 overlanding branded tarp is for dudes who spend all day at work internet shopping and never ventured out beyond the christmas-for-hubby battery power tool section of hardware stores.

Curious, why would anyone specifically want an Acadia?

I heard that Hertz was super up to their eyeballs in debt from one of those strip-and-flip private equity firm scenarios.

I think it’s weird that Tesla has laid a roadmap that every giant OEM could easily steal - “free” chargers everywhere. Stick some plugs in a mall parking lot, profit. Get your customers on the product, get them on the subscription plan. You can own a huge gas station franchise and a car company in one company.

“my wife won’t let me” might be the saddest phrase ever uttered by a man

That and the Mazda pickup with the big block in the bed.

Buying an overcomplicated, proprietary roofrack to transport a few 2x4's has got to be the most American thing ever.

Guessing he’s an “ultrarunner” aka someone who needs to get off internet fitness echochambers that sucker in obsessive workaholic types.
