It’s gotta be lead acid right? They could daisy chain a bunch of extra Walmart Neverstart RV deep cycles in the rear seat and road trip it.

They used the decent Vulcan straps to put downward pressure on the load but a janky orange crappy ratchet to take all the force from the accelleration.
What, you don’t like “hot takes” on some dumb Tesla tweet-controvery-of-the-day?
GM could have made an EV with literally any other brand and it would have been a better decision. You need profit margin on an EV. There’s no profit margin in a Chevy which is supposed to be their base brand, although GM is forced to keep the Corvette there.
Quirks and character go out the window when you need to get to cancer treatments or lose your job.
When COVID started I was like, this will decimate the economy, everyone will stop buying bikes.
Their trucks are pretty bulletproof.
I shopped for one years ago and they don’t really discount them too heavy. They aren’t like the mass-seller half tons.
Probably about 4 years old. Everyone always recommends them but mine have been junk. I live in the desert, stuff does not rust here.Tekton is lower tier than HF to me - I can send you pictures but it’s basically just regular tools with HUGE rust pits.
According to a bunch of Amazon reviews they took all the Made in USA branding off and make them cheaper. Also I really want a 3 ton because friends bring their sedans over.
I bought a few Tekton tools off Amazon and they rusted like crazy. No other tools have done that and I own a lot of HF. Alan keys and pliers got huge rust pits.
Also without the humanitarian and supply chain issues of cobalt
Buick is selling the Bolt in China still - except they market it as a Buick and put a nicer interior in it.
Yup. Next gen Tundra and Tacoma will share the same platform like the Frontier/Titan do though so I imagine it’ll become more profitable next refresh.
Subsidizing EV’s only helps wealthier people who can afford a new high end car in most cases and creates more congestion. Norway is mostly wealthy with a small educated population. Completely different from the states.
Personally I can’t wait. I love my Tacoma and the only thing I wish it had was better gas mileage. I could care less if it’s less manly or whatever. I just want to spend less money.
i see these trucks priced ridiculously used and I wonder how many actually sell. I’m guessing not that many.
I’ve always wondered why nobody has tried to build a Hybrid light truck, Tacoma/Colorado/Ranger/Frontier sized. Crawling around under my Tacoma there’s tons of room between the frame rails for a huge battery pack and you could tie some sort of electric motor into the rear differential.
They are only “not boring” in the sense that you don’t see them anymore. But there’s a reason they are all gone.
Every rich dude in San Bernadino County is trying to sell these off (along with side by sides and 3 axle 5th wheels) because they are mortgaged up to their eyeballs trying to keep up with their buddies.
