bro you should be a comedian with fresh jokes like those

Don’t even try and talk any sense. This site is populated by purely angry IT workers who are too afraid of motorcycles and can’t afford the sports cars they constantly complain about anyway. There’s a few that will brag about their 300cc twin sport bike and how it can outrun a Corvette from a stop light maybe.

Travel trailers still need license, insurance and tires.

RV’s are a pain in the ass. They need maintenance, registration, smog, insurance and periodic tire replacements. The cooling and fuel systems deteriorate because they sit for long periods of time and don’t get driven so rodents get into them. Regular smog places and shops can’t take them unless their shops are setup

I saw a offroadified sprinter for the first time a few weeks ago. He was very, very stuck on an easy fire road about 1 mile outside of a city.

That’s the saddest thing I ever heard.

The worst on Craigslist is when you put a price on something and someone takes time out of their day to write you a nasty email about how your price is ridiculous and you’re delusional and you’ll never sell it. And then keeps harping on you to lower it week after week.

I yell at my screen every time I see one of those “third grader 3D prints a ventilator at home”

I just squirt a little WD40 in there, it burns off easy but still provides some lubrication. I assume David just has a lot of ATF sitting around. Motor oil would work fine too. You just want to stop the metal to metal contact while the oil pressure gets up.

Jalopnik writers have to contractually write one dig at Tesla per article. It’s part of their agreement with the US dealers association.

You sound like you need to spend less time looking at IT memes

That was hilarious, don’t remember a followup. They sold their house because of...anxiety or something?

That’s a stretch. None of these things are much of a deal breaker. Just streamlining manufacturing.

They are huge. Size = weight.

I’d wager it would be priced 10-13k - right about what a Street Triple or a Ducati Monster costs.

Not sure why I’m bothering to explain this but that’s because Harley Davidson, being a mainstream OEM manufacturer selling road-legal bikes in the US and around the world has to put items on their bike to make them follow things called regulations. Like fenders, emissions, turn signals, reflectors and waterproofing.

I sold off a few older dual sports (one high mileage, one with blown motor...death nell for 4 strokes) and bought one nice one like a month ago. I got one 40 mile ride to test it out and it’s been sitting on a tender ever since. So lame.

I live in Los Angeles and could easily drive this to work without pissing off a single person. Can barely break 20mph most days during rush hour.

I had to spend a few hundred bucks to get my birth certificate and SSID when you count the notary and all the Vitalcheck fees. My dad passed away so they are effectively lost. Plus take time off to go to UPS to pick it up (wouldn’t drop it off at my house) and go the DMV for 5 hours.

I remember some Youtuber reviewed some CSC bike unfavorably and they went on a crazy rant...hard pass on them
