I want that naked bike tho.

I know you are full of crap because you say you to get a refurbished one. EVERY single refurb I’ve installed has issues at some point.

Did you watch the video? They won’t sell him covers for his lug nuts. It’s not about safety.

I’ve got 145,000 on my Tacoma’s clutch. Mostly stop and go traffic.

Glad they keep them around. Even in 2018 auto failures still happen to an alarming degree. Nothing beats a old fashioned box of gears.

Depends on what you are doing. Camping itself isn’t super exciting but you pair it with climbing, dirt biking or mountain biking or just exploring/messing around and it’s fun as hell. I was riding my road bike and stopped at the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara and watched a bunch of aging businessy guys and their wives

I grew up as a little kid watching Herbie (the originals) over and over and over again. I’m a car enthusiast who doesn’t care about luxury and loves goofy little cars. VW should be able to slam dunk sell me a car but the constant horror stories scare me away.

So you’re saying Rover did the electronics and Honda did the auto transmission?

Weren’t they just fancy Hondas?

Man, I thought my Katana was bad. 500+LBS and 67HP? My 1988 Katana has 75HP and weighs in at 482 and people consider it overweight and underpowered. And that’s with a full fairing.

You could probably drive to California, buy an ‘87 2WD truck for $2,000, spend $1,000 on a roadtrip and still be ahead of a fiberglass abomination.

I read this comment and was like, huh. A clutch driven fan is bulletproof and works well. I assume they use electric fans only when they can’t make the packaging work.

Racing seats are designed to keep you in one place counteracting lateral G forces. It’s a stupid way to build a comfortable seat to relax on.

Yes, go to Big Bear. It’s amazing. Everyone should go to Big Bear. Every weekend even.

Yeah Phil Gaimon covers that in his book. Exercise-induced cardiomegaly.

Every painter whose ever painted a building should just sue and say their painting is special art and they deserve a commission for using it.

I love Toyota but I think this is going to fail. Probably going to be priced like a BMW with BMW maintenance/problems but it’s 50HP down from a base Mustang. All the same complaints about the 86 but now at a higher price point so even fewer takers.

Anyone else find these types of out-of-touch-with-normal-people elements to professional sports super lame? The dumb hairstyles, dumb clothes, dumb shows of wealth?

Depends on the road. Highways? Maybe. This road has cycling and pedestrian traffic.

Curious - how do you get a sailboat off one of these things? Some guy on the street over from me has a decrepit sailboat on top of a trailer. It’s terrifying to look at to just think about something that tall and unstable flying down the freeway.
