There’s a shit storm brewing Randy my man.
There’s a shit storm brewing Randy my man.
Anyone else having problems with Google Maps? It’a so bloated now that it’s almost unuseable on my Galaxy S5 (admitted it’s getting a little old but still...)
Haven’t seen one that wasn’t a Toyota. My mom has a 1500 Sierra and it’s needed rack and pinion replaced (warrenty), engine mounts, wheel bearing, and two center support bearings in 150,000 miles. Nothing a dealbreaker and I still consider it a good truck but not super bulletproof. It hauls some beach camping gear…
Prime used to be worth it when all other retails (maybe sans Walmart) gouged you on little things. Now all the other retails have things priced the same or cheaper than Amazon. Example - went and got string trimmer line the other day. Priced like $12 on Amazon, went to Home Depot and it was the same price for double…
Toyota still makes Tacomas in 4cylinder manual, roll up window, cloth seat guise. My cousin has a 4x4 2015, I have a single cab, fleet white, 2009. I literally bought mine for $13,000 from a dealer. You’d have to be an idiot to buy the one listed above. Mine gets 22mpg, is fuel injected, and has hydraulic valves. Can…
Always wanted one but never seen a single one in the USA.
Seriously though man, what do you do that you have endless time to lobby to the death about some dead manufacturer’s throwaway FWD minivan constantly to strangers?
Seriously, this is Jalopnik. There’s a guy who will argue to the death that a Plymouth Voyager is the great car ever made on every single article.
uh...you know Garmin makes more than GPS’s you hang on your windshield right? There’s these industries called Marine and Aviation right?
Sounds great but you usually don’t want to actually spend much time with these cantankerous old guys.
I see this literally all the time in Los Angeles. Nothing new. We need to hire more CHP or sheriff or whoever. Cops on bikes doing low speed riding between cars. Never see them in the canyons or on the freeway during rush hour when they are really needed- only giving tickets to people going 10 over in Simi Valley on…
So it’s not the fault of the guy staring at his lap watching TV while driving? What’s wrong with you?
Some of us are still pissed at Honda for their glass autos. Also stupid valve adjustments.
Interesting cars are better until you have to ferry someone to cancer treatments and make it to work and keep up all the rest of your life. Then you’ll thank Toyota every day you fire that Camry sputters to life with it’s long-expired 7 year old battery and 9,000 mile oil that hasn’t needed to be topped up the entire…
I’ve been hollering about wanting for public transportation for 10 years now. It’ll be another 20+ before they get a subway line close to my house 10 miles away. And this is in Los Angeles where we are rapidly expanding.
I would assume this situation would be the most simple one for Autopilot to handle. Stationary object detected -> use brakes to full power. Isn’t this what Toyota/Volvo/other brands always advertise? Kids jumping in front of their car and having the brakes apply?
At least unlike many, many startups they make actual, physical money. Like, you exchange good and services (in this case a scooter ride) for actual, you know - $$$.
I wouldn’t call the Zero SR a city bike per say, it’s evolved a little past that. With almost 150+ range you can do a big canyon loop at least in SoCal where I live. I hit canyons all day on my sport bike and rarely use more than one tank which I get about 150 miles on.
Cycle World dyno’d the 107 at 101 at the back wheel. That would easily put it at 107 (if not more) at the crank which is what most people report. 114 should hit 120ft/lbs easily. You’re just splitting hairs at that point.
Na, the current ones make 107 - 124ft/lbs depending on the size (107cu in/114 cu in)
