¯\_(ツ)_/¯
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I just mentioned this to a friend who is a fan of Sushi Ramen [Riku], a similar inventor from Japan who quite often seems to be looking for the most creative way to take himself out.
Agents of Mayhem was underwhelming on many levels but I liked the characters themselves quite a bit. Especially some of the later-game ones.
The music on this game is phenomenal - didn’t even know it until Theathythm came out. Excited to play it!
I do like various beers, ciders and cocktails, so I’ve also always had easy alternatives instead of working to develop a wine palate.
I don’t really like wine. Whatever makes wine tasty to people, I just don’t have it. It’s great for cooking, though, so I end up doing the ice cube thing a lot. Or the rest of the bottle goes to whoever’s come over for dinner.
If you keep cooking with recipes, you’ll hit a tipping point where you’ll just start winging it more and more. Something will inspire you to get creative, or something won’t work but you’ll come up with a sauce or something in the pantry to salvage the dish. All the little building blocks for adding flavors,…
The best Chex Mix is covered with a mix of peanut butter, worchestershire sauce and studded with candy corn.
And I really loved my horse. Like, a lot. Blueberry was a very good girl.
Yep, still sucks that he’s gone.
At this point if Annapurna’s publishing it, I’m buying it.
A group of friends and I have started a joint spreadsheet to keep track of what’s in our pantries and recipes we’re trying or things that look interesting. It’s a fun way to see what they consider their staples, and to create the positive pressure I need to stay more organized with what’s in my kitchen, and to just…
What I really want to do is a frivolous trip through the dollar store to see if they have any good garden knick knacks for my porch.
I got an air fryer lid for the instant pot a month ago and it’s been great. Really, really crisp, fast green beans are a staple now with every other meal, and scotch eggs came out perfectly.
I played it at PAX East and it was a good time. Pretty much exactly what you’d expect.
Lego Hobbit is, I would say, 60 percent combat, 40 percent puzzles? It has a fairly extensive open world with sidequests in between the chapters, and what seems like a decent amount of extra stuff to do.
Hopefully finishing up Lego Hobbit and In Other Waters. Really enjoying the atmosphere of In Other Waters. I want to start Disco Elysium or play through Kentucky Route Zero finally, but I feel like I want to be in a really great mental space to enjoy those as they deserve.
A lot of his ire also stemmed from vegan/vegetarian food cooked badly by people who couldn’t be bothered to at least find cultures that did it well and follow their lead. He didn’t have a problem with good food.
The only good thing about the WWZ movie is that it inspired them to go back to the studio and record some of the skipped sections for the audiobook.
Oh yeah, definitely. Best lobster roll I’ve had yet was just outside one of the campgrounds at Acadia. Picnic bench in a field, hazy blue-purple sunset, piece of blueberry pie for dessert. Paradise.
