Real close to the top of the post quarantine list is a trip out to Rockport MA for a lobster roll at the Lobster Pool and a trip to Halibut Point State Park. Either is good on their own, together it makes for a great day.

Also, a lot of expensive restaurants have lunch menus or other opportunities for people who don’t want to pay the highest prices for the full tasting menu to still get an experience of what they’re offering.

Guardians of the Galaxy from Telltale. It’s surprisingly enjoyable, if not quite Tales from the Borderlands level fabulous, and the soundtrack is fantastic.

The joke ‘Death Stranding’ trailer is what caught my attention, if it’s got any of that same contemplate-a-vast-terrain vibe.

There’s a Finnish glass-ceilinged igloo hotel that seems perfect for northern lights viewing.

Japan is great, and with the bullet trains you can see a lot in a short period of time, and staying in the business-class hotels is relatively affordable and really fantastic.  I hope you get the chance to go.

I like a very basic french toast, with nothing but egg for a batter, so I can scramble it up on the side after I’ve dipped the bread and cooked that.

I had leftover Smitten Kitchen bean/carrot burgers with an egg on top and some guacamole on the side for lunch a couple of times this week.  Good stuff.

Running through the back half of Mad Max, gettting closer to 100% completion than I thought I’d bother with, but the gameplay loops are all super solid.

This sounds great. I made some miso banana bread earlier this week - completely borked the recipe - but it came out ok anyway with a good flavor.  Miso brings a lot to the table. Looking forward to trying this.
