I got angry at a frozen bag of coleslaw I stuffed into the back of my freezer... at some point. Instead of throwing it in the garbage like a rational human being, I made soup out of it. Coleslaw soup. I made a lot of coleslaw soup. I’ve been eating it for the past week and a half at lunchtime, because it was a dumb

It is kind of the digital equivalent of building your dream home on a 10yr floodplain.

Why would a bunch of bills stapled to a wall in a place that’s been closed for a couple of weeks be any more dangerous than any other money in circulation? Even if four-ish people handled them getting them off the walls, how is that different than any cash in a till at a grocery store?

Wingspan’s coming soon online.  Also Root.

The plot is just broken, which is what happens when you start off with a great writer at the start and then switch midway to the standard Squeenix b-team because Basch’s actual storyarc would have actually been compelling compared to Vaan’s cobbled together pile of cliches.

Octopath was a gorgeous little jewelbox of a game. No other game looks quite like it.

I swear I have a normal amount of TP.  If I hoard anything it’s my Steam library.

Now playing

That same realism also destroyed my gaming strategies for any other video game going forward: I hoarded resources and money like it was going out of style...

Polishing off RDR2. Life got in the way of getting through the second epilogue. I have rarely been more excited to see a fictional character than I was when Charles rejoined the main plot. Probably try to burn through the last few missions and then circle back for some of the smaller quests. Roommate will be

Thank you for this! As a meat-eater trying to eat less of it, it’s great to have new options to try.

Theory: Gamestop will close down for at least two weeks starting next Monday, but they couldn’t/wouldn’t close this near to the release of two of the biggest games of the next few months, no matter what.

The thing that gets me about House of Leaves and this author is that all of his books are so uniformly batshit in so many unique ways I feel like he’s at least really committed to... whatever’s going on there.
