Didn’t manage to set things on fire with the bacon-wrapped dates but did panic with the smoke alarm and the smoke coming off the pan and threw the whole thing in the freezer. Where the hot pan promptly melted and stuck to three or four plastic bags of frozen veg.

Speaking of serving, my best pro tip for holidays and dinner parties alike is to bring your offering on a serving platter that doubles as a hostess gift.

I was intrigued (still am) by the general concept and the world, but I deliberately didn’t know much else about it going in. I’m not a Kojima acolyte, but he usually has some interesting things going on.

God, if only. 

I’m not a Destiny lifer, but I did enjoy my time with D2 and that game has the some of the best-looking UI out there.  All the graphics and little snippets of lore and everything in the Destiny package makes me want to collect more loot.

I mean hopefully by now they have some idea what not to do.

I have visitors this weekend, so mostly the game of wishing I was playing Death Stranding. I’m so happy I fell on the 50 percent of people who enjoy the game, because I’m really digging it.

I knew it was going to be an Hermes. I just knew it.
