Super excited.

Now playing

For anyone not familiar with the greatness.

“With every game we try to create new mechanics that would be new tools for the player to not resolve to guns,”

Randomized limit breaks. Sure, Squall, keep throwing your level 1 attack while Rinoa and her dog lay waste to the final boss, no problem.

Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark | Switch

Excited for this one.  I did not expect the end of this year to be so suddenly full of interesting games.

Far: Lone Sails.

Wow, that’s exactly the same lineup I like. I think Petra’s my favorite, she’s working so hard to do her best.

If you’d asked me yesterday what kind of play loop was being added to the resource/survival space exploration base-building sim, ‘milk aliens, make space quiche’ would not have been my first guess.

“You can be like space Deliveroo,” Murray said,

Star Citizen. And how it’s doing is kind of a Rashomon-esque question of perspective at this point.

It’s in the middle of this article, all the discussion of ‘Joplin’.

Gonna rec The Ear, The Eye and The Arm by Nancy Farmer. It’s a kid’s book, so a short read, but it’s got some nice multi-level worldbuilding.

Saw this at PaxEast. The presenter was helping someone else, so I never got a good sense of the controls.  It felt like one of those games that was a little too quiet and laid back for the show floor. Super charming looking game, can’t wait to play it for real. Psst, devs. Psst, Switch port?

Does Darth Vader have mental illness? Does Thanos need therapy?

Holding out for that Ooblets Switch port. I mean how cute is that thing, they have to.

Fire Emblem on the beach.

Enjoy it, it’s a really fantastic time!

We’re here! We’re deer! We... can’t really be bothered to finish up with-
