It is a flaw I’ve seen from other fantasy/sci-fi scripts, though. If you come up with an amazing world with fantastical sights but don’t take the time to let the audience be amazed, or let the actors act as if they’re at all interested, then you lose a lot of the intended effect of bothering with an otherworldly…
