The Final Fantasy movie couldn’t land a single emotional beat. Otherwise, it was pretty much the standard ‘anger creates suffering, compassion creates peace’ narrative.

Dude, if you’re putting out a zombie-themed, open-world game in 2019 you have to distinguish yourself in a crowded marketplace with some substantially stand-out titles.
The story was whelming. I was whelmed.
I love maps. The two ‘world from space’ maps of the day and nighttime earth are also amazing - I used to have them on opposite walls in my room as a kid.
Given that one medium has zero bar for entry and the other has multiple gatekeepers, the fact that the majority of both is uninspired dreck with occasional flashes of brilliance is interesting.
Two comments about the great (as usual) podcast:
