Steam library indecision has been hitting me hard recently. I've got not-insignificant save files going in Final Fantasy XIII-2 and IX, Dark Souls 1, 2 and 3, Gun, and Mass Effect 2.

I'm playing the Steam version right now. It's as imperfect as all of the Steam FFs are (except the x/x-2 remaster, I guess), but I'd entirely missed out on it on release, and it was the only main series game I hadn't played until the Steam release hit.

I shoulda kept animation rights.

Gizamaluke was tough, as was the Hillgigars [sic] until I figured out how to not insta-die.

To be fair, it's hard to spell. And really, most acids would do in this case (though I'd worry about the integrity of the internal mechanisms of the super soaker(s) involved)

I'm saving that kind of viewing for once I've seen a regular playthrough to completion. I like silly speed runs and enemy dodging, but it can definitely deflate the intended mood and experience (Not to make every thread a dark souls thread, but after watching someone run through the catacombs avoiding everything while

Yeah, I'm at the bonfire just after Dragonslayer Armor. I was spinning my wheels there sunbroing until the DLC came out. Then I started it, and it's real hard, so it's been slow going. I think the end of DS3 is stronger than the end of DS2, and while I like Gwyn I think that DS1 post-Anor Londo is mediocre - so

Jumped into DS3 last night (based on Nioh hype also). I'm bouncing back and forth between the same two areas, as well as the "Snowy Pass" bonfire of the DLC.

I think that's my favorite post-Shake-the-Sheets Ted Leo song

I should try this; the wife and I have had a cold for … I haven't checked the calendar recently, so I'm gonna guess 2 years.

Having drinks with my team at my old job tonight. Whiskey of unknown origin and quality will be consumed in unknown quantity in celebration of the completion(ish) of a project that started back in early 2012.

Well, problem 1 is that the movies involved are Fences and Hidden Figures. No movie is called Hidden Fences*

Yeah, and I also do that, too.

To paraphrase a friend, I'm a pacifist and an anti-fascist, and the second will always, always take precedence over the first.

There's something so earnest about shitty robots. Well-meaning ineptness is always charming [insert comment about how that statement doesn't hold true when discussing elected officials in positions of power].

This 30 year old Niners fan hates Dallas more, but some of that is Rodgers' Cal cred.

Every six months to a year, I reinstall Borderlands and its first sequel and play it for about six hours. I enjoy it immensely, get distracted, and stop. I"m anticipating that cycle beginning again this weekend.

I'm not objective about the Princess Bride, and I won't pretend to be.

That'd be nice.

I didn't hate The Visit, and I don't hate McAvoy, so I'm willing to give this a chance.
