Twilight Struggle coverage or I'm outta here.

Enjoy!

The end of season 4 ("The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings") is the end of the original run of the show.

Seasons 1 and 2* are really uneven. There are some absolutely standout moments in them, but the show doesn't really hit its stride until season 3. There's a delicate balance in the best Futurama episodes of character-driven humor and absurdist set pieces - but early Futurama leaned a little too heavily on the latter

It's maybe a little on the nose, but Futurama is always my go-to when I want to turn off my brain and be bemused for several hours. Naturally, I watched the entire series' run 3-4 times over in my early 20s.

I can't be the only one who misses the days when those white pillars were pink and orange and purple, though…

I've heard nothing but ringing praise for the DMV joke

This is what my parents did to me, and look how I turned out!

Pretty sure Mrs. R00k33 has made me watch that trailer four or five times now - think we'll catch this this weekend.

I've said it before, and I will say it again, but I really badly want a Long Walk adaptation

I think I speak for all of us when I say "eh"

I read them all, and I have it in my head that I liked them all, but I can't for the life of me remember what's in any of them.

New stranger shows up in town, knows you by name, and a different new stranger offers your wife tickets, and weird things start happening? Smart money's on them being the same new stranger, and Frank is a lot of things but he's not shown to be stupid.

I read the book, and I agree that the series is killing it.

The second is actually pretty enjoyable, if you can forgive its thoroughly stupid premise.

I'd like to get out of Bronze in both Rocket League and League of Legends. No, I don't think either will happen, but I'm gonna try, dammit!

Great, internet, now don't get cocky!

It really was. It's there in the subtext.

"help"

I actually agree with you. Efficiency is a way to avoid hardship, but it is unfortunately so rewarding that it becomes a vicious cycle and is bad at evaluating hidden or less objective side effects. Like hedonism.
