My fiancee is going to be pretty disappointed by this, but, rules are rules.

Precisely.

I like IPAs just fine, I'm just tired of them being the only output of all of my local craft breweries, each trying to out-hop the other until you can't taste anything.

Let's do four IPAs instead, and give them all different names, despite the fact that they all taste like hops and ass.

There's probably a comment on the middle-school jokiness of the username, while we're at it.

While I didn't do it consciously, I actually only started watching Hannibal as the news came out that it was cancelled.

Yeah, I just sort of lump it into my utilities pricing at this point.

Hey, we're wearing matching shirts today!

I promise, if you think even a little, you can think of a reason why not.

RE4 definitely has at least 5 years on Demon's souls - but the connection is definitely there, which is why it's so thematically fulfilling for me that the best parts of Bloodborne feel like a return to RE4.

This isn't explicitly good news, but after what was probably one of the shittiest months I've had in my admittedly privileged life, October is so far turning out to be 100% not September. So, I'm real happy about that.

And that it's rarely beneficial to have both.

Congrats! I'll bring the drink the beer!

Sometimes I wonder why I come back to this site, day after day.

Season finale title: GG EZ N00B

I think you're almost certainly right. Between its thematic trappings and its release year, it definitely gets unfavorable comparisons to different genres.

Entirely agreed. I keep meaning to finish that game because I loved so much about it, but I just couldn't keep playing those RTS sections.

I'm gonna have to go with Alpha Protocol. There is an absolute ton of promise here - a western RPG masquerading as a 3rd-person spy shooter. It's got characters with some actual character and I was really really excited for it.

Also, can we talk about 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand? Because I always want to be talking about 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.

"It's not a real horror movie" aside, they had Cabin in the Woods for a long time - is it still on there?
