Always! I've been on a gin kick recently, and in particular sweet, bitter, boozy gin cocktails: The Negroni is the staple, but I've also got one with benedictine and elderflower liqueur that is pretty great.

Nats game, weather dependent. Then finding a party, possibly a party of one.

I'll be in NY in the middle of the month, and then at the end of the month I'll be celebrating my favorite drinking holiday, my birthday, at whatever DC watering hole hasn't catered to hipsters entirely, but is still cheap.

I'll be honest, as I was typing that sentence I did sort of expect it to get The AV Club'd.

I totally agree with you (and didn't mean to disagree or say you were wrong) - but satire needs to have commentary that is deeper than "this is a thing that people dumber than me do," and this doesn't seem to, which I think was Anon21's point.

The problem with this kind of comedy is that it's only ever understood by people who already get it. You're not being edgy, or innovative, or changing anyone's mind. You're masturbating to the like-minded about how enlightened you are. Which, if you like that, fine, but don't make me watch it.

That's fine, I definitely think it's the weakest game. That doesn't mean it's magically not in the series.

Why wouldn't you count Origins? It's a prequel, but it's definitively in the series.

I'm assuming exclusively via Newswires

Will it change her mind? No. Is it super funny anyway? Absolutely.

I'm worried it'll feel false and schmaltzy, rather than the earnest zing that Stewart so often brought in these takedowns.

I have no feelings about this, other than disinterested mirth in the general direction of the clown car.

With an earth W!

Right?

He's actually not one of the Baldwin brothers - his name (and unfortunate IRL presence) are just coincidences.

Just stop it, he's dead already!

So, Tuesday?

At this point?

I was definitely expecting something much, much worse than this.

It can be two things.
