Blacklisted is a very different Neko Case album, and I think you're right that you've got to be in the mood for it. It's great, though.

One of my favorite acts to see live - they really put on a great show, they dig deep into their discography, and they have a real sense of electricity to their performances.

Origins was a letdown, but City got me fully engaged with parts of the Batman lore that I didn't know I cared about, and that wins it serious points.
