For me, there has never been a better moment than Fry bobbing for the pineapple-on-a-string in The Why of Fry. Everything about it is perfect - from the nonsensical act itself, to his apparent failure at it (I'm not sure what success would look like?), to the fact that he stares into the middle distance once he gives

"You're sure they'll help me?"
"What am I, psychic? beat Oh, yes, I mean, I'm sure they'll help."

What a bunch of clowns!

There are too many Pho options near me/on 14th in general for my face to not occasionally be on fire.

I think I'd quibble with your assertion that Starship Troopers wasn't meant to be funny - it's pretty clearly a parody of its own source novel and of jingoistic military fare in general.

Joining in on the 3 love train - especially the extended version from the boxed set which adds a ton of characterization. Plus Charles Dance.

Isn't that technically a P?

It is so heartening to hear that I'm not the only one for whom this is the case. I so loved even the light RTS stuff layered on top of the solid brawler - but it just became this clunky mess and I don't want to lose that damn battle again.

Everybody knows that.

I think I'd put Crash Years on the actual list, probably in place of Use It, and I might re-order a tad, but putting From Blown Speakers at #1 is an automatic for me.

That scene is supposed to be sexy? There's no buildup, no clever writing. She mentions that she's aroused as blandly as possible. Honestly, I think it'd be better filmed, because an actor might be able to make it believable, where prose absolutely did not.

I keep hearing about this! It's also apparently been in my backyard for years. I'm definitely gonna check it out!

Got it and I'm in, now.

I tried to replay it being the psychopath the game eventually paints you as, but oddly enough I found that the experience was really lacking. Even when I tried to push the critical part of my brain aside and revel in Walker's almost-giddy violence, the game is so clearly disgusted by you that it doesn't feel possible

With the looming debut of season 5, I think it's gonna be a ton of League of Legends for me. That said, I've still got Wolf Among Us nagging me from my ps4, promising the sweet release of uncomfortable dialogue choices and cruel-but-heartfealt character interactions. Choices are difficult, as it were.

Was trying to join that dip game via steam and failed, for some reason.

Recently installed it on Steam just to watch that opening cinematic again. I mean, and then play it. Twice. But also, that opening cinematic.

Popping in to note that it's available on iOS (maybe droid too, I dunno) and actually works pretty well, if you're like me and you don't remember which of your last apartments you lost your PSP in.

Time to go listen to Ellen and Ben and definitely not cry…

When I was talking to a friend who hadn't yet listened to this episode, I described it as feeling more like an appendix (I had in mind either LotR or House of Leaves, take your pick) - errata, deleted scenes, things left on the editing room floor. Which felt odd before the finale, but I get that (and others have said
