I’m no expert, but most of what my camera does (I have a Canon so not the same, unfortunately) is noise reduction and some color adjustments between the RAW and jpg version assuming I don’t use any of the special modes. Another thing you can do, assuming you have a phone that supports it, is to get a USB OTG adapter and get an app that can drive the camera from the phone. My favorite is DSL Controller. It can remotely trigger the shutter, and you can even do fancy stuff like time lapses much more easily.
