Why does Disney kill off the parents in all their movies? So people don’t ask, “Where are this main character’s parents?” It took a few lines about her father and one short bit with her mother to explain that Kimi is on her own. You want a 90 minute movie? You have to cut the exposition.

It’s possible, but doesn’t happen a lot these days. The major studios might make one “risky” picture a year. The rest will all sacrifice art if it threatens the profit.

I don’t think it’s too early. You’ve had two shows. One with mostly new characters, and one with a bunch of fan favorites. The others coming up center around fan favorites. It seems as if Star Wars just decided to pump out nostalgia instead of story. And that does seem to be the split in fans. Something new vs. more

It’s not the program, it’s the people. You’re taking a teaching style with advanced concepts and putting it in the hands of people who might have less than an associates degree of training and are probably paid only slightly more than the local fast food restaurant. It’s not a recipe for success.

They are telling women, out loud, to their face, that they will only pretend to care about them until it might actually count, and then they’ll actively screw them over. The Republican Party doesn’t “share your values”. They’re using you.

While some thought this was a protest, it wasn’t. It was a recruiting drive for right wing extremists.

I don’t know if it counts, but if you like movies, the “Every Frame a Painting” series is fantastic.

I’m pretty sure “foodies” don’t use a twenty dollar hand mixer. They either have a Kitchenaid or better stand mixer or they mix by hand.

We are at the point where one huge “streaming service” actually owns another major streaming service, and is going to pretend like they are separate so they can collect two monthly fees from you. Screw Disney and Hulu. Yo ho! Yo ho...

The rest of one of those kid’s life is going to be, “Yes, it’s Wolf.  No...sigh...with an e at the end.”

Well, we need more Senators too. But it looks like there are some other Democrats who have better chances running in the primary. I still wouldn’t classify it as a joke or a prank, or even some kind of money scheme (other than the fact that you need money to advance in politics). I think this guy is going to keep

The only way I’m watching is if Ricky Gervais is hosting. And we know that isn’t happening again.

And the award for best rounded rectangle vaguely shaped like a car goes to...

If we don’t test, covid will go away. If we don’t say gay, all our kids will be straight. The guy’s whole platform is the same as a toddler closing his eyes and thinking his parents can’t see him.

Or he’s an activist running in the district he actually lives in, rather than “establishing residency” in one where he has a better chance. It seems like he was working pretty hard before he started running.

When affordable housing comes up in towns, they don’t just say, “We don’t want poor people here.” It’s always, “We’ve got bigger fish to fry.” In this case, they are worried about “traffic and water management”.

Hmmm. Expensive, safe, comfortable, and good for the environment vehicle? Or cheap aluminum box filled with diesel exhaust? Decisions...decisions...

So, according to this Supreme Court decision, can we we throw out the Tennessee map because it’s too close to election? Can we use this too close to the election precedent to stop all the laws that are still being enacted by Republicans?

Getting views and likes has become more important than people’s lives.
