That sounds fun and cute, though. I hate newborn photos where babies are posed in some really strange outfit (like a lace onesie and pearls) on a big bed of fur. The babies never seem so much like a prop that they don’t seem alive and it creeps me the hell out.

We have the Goodnight Darth Vader and Vader’s Little Princess books, and my 3 year old daughter loves them. However, it occurred to me one day that we’ve now spoiled the original trilogy for her because she already knows Vader is Luke and Leia’s dad. She carries a plush Yoda around as her baby and makes up Chewbacca…

It’s easy to forget how ridiculous his orange-ness is when you see pictures of him alone.

I’m curious why her left eye is more closed. If that’s just her eyes, then that’s cool but if it’s because her hair is in her eyes, then I choose to be bothered by the asymmetry.

Eh he doesn’t really. I was kind of put off by him initially too but softened over time. Partially because I watched some Gay of Thrones and it was actually really funny.

Skin care and makeup are the most incredibly frustrating products to buy. So much of it feels like a scam that feeds on misogyny and ageism and poor (if any) science. For example, I love how The Face Shop’s products work on my skin but hate being upsold by employees who claim their products are effective and better…
