I couldn’t even finish an episode of this. Having only three contestants makes it feel awkward and slow, and the editing was terrible too- I feel like they consistently focused on people’s reactions for like 2 seconds too long and it made “jokes” fall flat.

“Flattered” seems like a great word to use. I think it’s also entirely easy to say something as simple as “no thanks I’m married” in a tone that doesn’t come across as trying to make someone feel shitty for asking.

It’s been a while since I read or watched Devil Wears Prada but I remember it being quite different in the end. Isn’t book Miranda always cold and awful whereas the movie version has a redemptive moment? I definitely preferred the book ending for feeling more realistic.

Definitely. Chuck is one of my favorite authors but Fight Club is a mess, and even he readily admits the movie is an improvement.

I’m glad someone else likes season 6 too. I wouldn’t say best or my favorite but it gets an undeserved amount of hate. Dead Things is gorgeously dark, and Life Serial is amazing.

Yes! That breaks my heart too. My plan for my daughter is she can pierce herself if/when she wants them for more than just to go along with everyone else and she is able to properly care for the piercings herself.

This was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I was totally enraptured by Jennifer Connelly- badass AND beautiful.
