Glad I’m not the only one who thought so. The overuse of italics really took me out of the narrative flow.

Don’t be, that made me laugh!
I actually kind of like it but it does need adjustments because it’s not sure which way it wants to be. I do wish the skirt were just one length- that asymmetry is too much. Either much longer and embrace the drama...or shorten the band at the waistline and reduce a little volume in the sleeves and I think it could…
The placebo effect is crazy and I don’t think we really understand it yet. There have been studies where patients KNOW they’re on a placebo and still experience a placebo effect.
Um...maaaaybe Bella’s but none of those really look that much like the Rachel.
Agreed. But I can’t decide whether that says more about him or the buyers... I mean, he could turn the money down if he was really sticking to the principle but taking lots of money from people who don’t understand the point in the first place is satisfying in its own right. I’d be more sympathetic to that angle,…
Fair enough. Just with the message of this article being unnecessary judgment, I wanted anyone else reading to know they can do everything “right” (whatever that may be) and kids will most often still be stubborn a-holes who do whatever the hell they want (for a time).
I’m glad it worked out for your kids so well but it’s specious to say that kids who have tantrums about food have unhealthy relationships with food.
I think you bring up great points about relationships being tested and that kind of stress being tough on any relationship. I’m sorry for your loss and that your husband hasn’t been more supportive. Hugs from a random internet stranger.
I wanna tell you a little story ‘bout a party that went all right but went all wrong...I wanna tell you a little story ‘bout a party in this song...it happened back in ‘93 in the Pittsburgh punk rock scene an event that will go down in infamy...
I don’t think it’s so much a lack of coffee as punctuation...
I haven’t watched in years but I would clear anything in my crazy-ass schedule to watch that.
Right, but my point is it’s a little ambiguous. I’m not saying it’s wrong or mean-spirited, just agreeing with OP’s comment that it feels a little off.
I agree. Maybe because “which” makes the person sound like an object, and trans people obviously (as the article above makes clear) are not always treated as people. It seems like “Whoever” would be a better choice.
Really! The lazy, half-assed work that previous tenants do in houses that you then have to fix is the real horror.
😂
An awkward moment in an otherwise good first date:
Why should we? Evidently no one in the GOP pays their taxes fairly.
I thought there used to be another way to get ungreyed? They really should make a way for us to do it for ourselves if they don’t care about us anyway.
I was ungreyed pretty quickly over on The Takeout. They’re a nice bunch over there.
