@DuckyBelkins: This was the argument I made when my California relative bitched about "our tax dollars" going towards her legal settlement from the state.

I would be inclined to buy the book solely in order to help provide financial support for Ms. Dugard and her children.

I have trouble taking seriously women who take advantage of the beauty ideal when they meet it, then start bitching when they age/gain weight and fall short.

What does my insurance have to with maternity leave? Does she perhaps mean pregnancy/childbirth health care?
