Came here to post this. Tony Stark is just about the only superhero with both the skills and the inclination to work on cars. Many others (Batman, Dr. Manhattan) have the skills/resources, but would probably consider it beneath them or frivolous.

Atomic Annie has always been one of my favorite Cold War weapons. Nuclear Artillery, doesn't get much better than that. Especially considering that the range was ~20 miles.
