Nicotine will definitely cause heartburn (it relaxes smooth muscle, which can cause the sphincter at the top of the stomach to relax, causing reflux) and it can cause tingly feel on your skin. I know that when I smoked, it definitely gave me heartburn and nicotine lozenges made my mouth tingly.
