I find this very believable.

I dunno. I hope we can at least push the party until they clean house. But I don’t have much idea how to do that.
It doesn’t matter whether or not she is personally admirable.
What can we do to try to force their hand?
Fail.
Sure, they decided not to prosecute. That doesn’t make what she did legal, at very least she violated the Federal Records Act in how she responded.
The party leaders don’t do shit to help spur voting in midterms. There needs to be GOTV work everywhere, in every county, to help at least reduce our disadvantages. Without that why should we expect people to vote?
I think that those figures must be excluding long term unemployed who aren’t actively looking anymore. Too many urban areas in Mich look too bombed out for me to believe in full employment.
What about the white woman who couldn’t be bothered to campaign in Wisconsin or Michigan (my state; inarguably the best)?
This is spot on.
She was an awful candidate and we’re just now finding out how bad she was in terms of her limp purposeless campaign, but realistically Bernie wouldn’t have had a shot. For many reasons, chief among them being that he was uninterested in doing the work of reaching out and building a real coalition.
I hope you have a very nice holiday season. With likeminded friends or solitary. Good for you for prioritizing your sanity.
It’s inhumane to expect college students to cohabitate in a 10x12 room like that in fairness.
This is not a good take.
Ellie, I enjoyed your jokes about how sad we all are.
I’ve eaten bugs for dumber reasons. It’s not THAT bad.
Yes. This.
This wasn’t a midterm.
I’m glad to see any Dem voter looking to cast blame because I find it maddening to witness the self-pity or the people talking about how we “really” won in some imagined way.
