Trump’s win was because we didn’t offer voters anything except “not Trump” which isn’t a winning move.

Guess what. When you run for president you are signing up for selective, unfair scrutiny. I would have been happy to see her remain a senator from New York, voting for every war that came along, and not having her email practices examined. But she decided to run for president.

Please keep publicly telling a person of color what people of color think, this is the sort of thing that helps. If only Hillary had done more of this.

I’d also love it if white supremacy and misogyny and homophobia and transphobia hadn’t just won an election. But they did.

If I read her overall thrust right, she’s getting at the idea that exposing more people to it increases the harm, which is a legit point if arguably not the most important one here.

I think doing what we can to make the worst stuff public at least helps at the margins to make it slightly less acceptable.
