I followed that thread, thanks for sharing. I’m always extremely skeptical of rando debunkings, but the guy makes some really good arguments. There are 11 people on that boat wearing highly reflective life jackets. How covert!

The good guys don’t play by the rules, and the bad guys have their own code of honor. The leader of the thieves is a slick professional; his sidekick is a volatile fuck-up.

I don’t know if I agree with compulsory voting or not, but I would certainly welcome the conversation in this country about it.

Yeah, I didn’t bother to do any research and took the article (and the quotes therein) at face value about it being a “conservative” district.  I stand corrected.
