“I will support the Trump agenda because it is the people’s agenda, especially Eastern North Carolina that voted so overwhelming in his favor,”

That immediately caught my eye as well. But all three of those things describe the Catholic church as an institution.

Outstanding work.

Well, we started that the last time we had an adult in the White House, but President Big Boy and the MAGANATIONALISTS seem hell-bent on destroying that progress.

Absolutely not sarcasm. It’s silly, to me anyways, to consider any foreign country right now our “enemy,” unless we’re at war. The last time we had a real president, we were making unbelievable diplomatic gains in Cuba and Iran. I might even be willing to give President Big Boy some credit for treating North Korea

Holding our allies to the same standards as our enemies will guarantee said allies become enemies.

And we cannot continue to turn a blind eye to repression in Saudi Arabia

Very true.

This is incredibly naive and simply wrong. Voting for what you believe in to make some statement about the two party system leads to things like Donald Trump being elected president. I’m sure you feel just awesome about yourself, but maybe you should participate in the democracy that we have, and not the democracy

It’s a fun thought experiment to play “what if Al Gore had won,” but to basically blame a 22-year old intern with a crush on her boss for the death of millions around the world certainly transforms it into an awful take.

With all due respect, that’s a terrible idea.  You’re right about the Green Party, of course, but there is functionally no difference between a Green Party vote and a Republican Party vote.  I don’t like our two party system, but it’s what we have.

I was thinking last night about various things that the President of the United States has no idea exist. Like “work pants” or dryer sheets, or stamps.com.

At this point I’m not sure it’s worth saving anymore.

But of all the ghoulish responses to the shooting, perhaps the most nauseating was the one from Australian Senator Fraser Anning, who wrote on Friday that “the real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place.”

Oh yeah. I mean, I totally...er...approve of the disapproval. It’s just that the headline is more than a little Buzzfeedy.

Exactly.

With all due respect to you, Rafi, or whomever on the staff wrote the headline, I’m unclear on how a “resolution of disapproval” that is not veto proof can be described as an ass-handing.
