As long as Bezo’s pays for the removal and the re-install, I have no problem with it. If not, his yacht can just stay parked.

It’s a bad year for subaru’s. I’d avoid most late 90's subys.  These are the cars that started the whole “bad head gasket” meme. They were the worst.

So much this. A simple transaction, I give you money, you give me product. I hope to never hear from you again.

I agree. The outrage seems excessive for something that prevents your kids from burning up the seat motors. These limits won’t even be noticeable in 99.9% of the cases.

I imagine the motor dying involves it getting pretty hot. Not sure I want an electric motor under my ass to get red hot.

Cars protect idiots from all sort of things and we don’t consider it excessive. Like redline in the engine. And not allowing your paddle shifters to money shift the engine.

My Acura prevents changing the seat profile when going in reverse but allows it when going forward as many times as I want. What brand is this?

So, okay, according to these findings, screwing with the seat for 90 seconds inside of five minutes gets you a warning, adjusting the seat for two minutes inside of five minutes gets you disabled for the next five minutes, and if you just do a lot of “short bursts,” you get cut off for five minutes, too.

There’s no need to pretend they’re all the same. They simply aren’t. Ford puts out garbage. No company is perfect but, ford simply fails much more often than other car companies. I used to always have a ford 20 years ago. Then the quality simply fell off.

He does have a long, long, way to go to achieve that, but reintegrating Ukraine would be a key step along the path.

It IS an inalienable right. That’s why it’s written into the constitution. This guy should spend a decent amount of time in prison though.

“God damn that’s loud...”.

Why is Ukraine our problem? What strategic value does it have for the US? As an American, I’m not seeing any upside to supporting a foreign country who isn’t in NATO against their nearest neighbor. Sure, it sucks to be them but that’s our answer to many people. Look at the mess we left in Afghanistan. Is it because

This. I could give a shit about Ukraine. We need to pull back and fix the homeland before we spend more policing the world. The only justification (a good one I guess) for us being world police is that it lets us protect the dollar as the reserve currency of the world.

I agree if it’s a safety issue. If it’s just setting some standard because they’re shitty, I’m against it. It’s always “free market” this or that, when the wealthy make more money. It’s “think of the children” when they try to shutdown competition.

At least at Walmart, you can stick it on your CC. For a used bike, you need cash, which many American’s simply don’t have.

People are paying shitty bike prices and getting shitty bikes. Now the people who sell expensive bikes are going to try to force the cheap bikes out of the market.

Yeah, now they can charge for it but not bother doing it.

These days OBD2 is just lip service to the law requiring it in ‘96. All the manufacturers have expanded diagnostic tools well beyond OBD2. Cars since, I guess 01 have been built with network technology which standardized on canbus. So the body computers use low speed canbus and the ECU and dash uses high speed canbus.

You know any problem with the ABS system or any problem with the air-bags disables them without bricking the car. I wonder if you could simply disable the front facing camera. Maybe a hidden switch to disable it. So, you turn it on normally when you need adaptive cruise, then have the ability to disable it if it
