Agreed. Possessing a gun without proper training is kinda useless. You have to have the gun, have the training and the will to use it.

And guess what? Manufacturing is coming back to the US in a major way

It simply didn’t go far enough. It should have been a step towards some sort of universal health care but instead, just ended up being just more insurance. In my case worse insurance. I’m self-employed so, I get none of the benefits of working for a company and having mass rates to help keep the rates down.

Trump only cared about Trump. He did start the ball rolling on our exit from Afghanistan so, I applaud him for that.

Nothing you said invalidates my point. I’m not claiming the CCP is a wonderful group of people. I simply like that they put their own country first. Against foreign powers and against entrenched business interests within their own country.

Also there is no such thing as a middle class and there never was.

I kind of admire China for knowing what side their bread is buttered on. You know any decisions they make is only to protect China. I wish we had some of that “protect America first” from our own government. When our government does something, you always have to wonder if it’s at the behest of some corporation that

If you’re a cop, sure you can get away with it. If you’re a normal person, you’re probably going to get charged.  While a robber might deserve death, the law’s pretty clear that you can’t kill people for property.

I sometimes wonder if it’s bullies who say things like this? Only a bully fears retaliation.

I don’t carry a gun either. Then again I’m a decent size so, people tend to be nice me by default. On the other hand, if I was a 115 lb woman, I’d seriously consider being armed depending on where I lived. Some places don’t really need it.

I’ve been told, Subaru mostly switched all of their cars to the multilayer steal head gaskets sometime around 2010 and beyond. I thought it was later than that.

There a certain year Honda’s you avoid. Like you don’t want any V6 automatic made between 00-05. The low end Civic engines in the late ‘00's had head gasket issues. I don’t think anything made since 2015 is as reliable as pretty much any other year Honda.  If I was buying a new car and I need a reliable car above all

The 2.5s even the turbo 2.5's and STI’s had HG issues. The problem I believe is the bore for the 2.5 simply didn’t leave enough meat for the HG. You don’t really hear too much about the 2.0's going through HG’s. I suspect that’s one reason Subaru dropped back to the 2.0 and now they have the 2.4 which hopefully has

How many cars have the engine hanging behind the rear axle? These cars are oversteer prone because of how the engine is mounted. It’s always been a problem with Porsches. They took many years to finally tame it.

Sure it’s not limited to trump. He was just the most visible example. Keep in mind this was originally posted a year ago while he was still the pres.

It does seems needlessly cruel. It’s not like you’re born knowing how to do this. Life is all about trial and error. We need to make sure to mock when Jalopnik finally fails and all the writers are tossed out on the street... It’s only fair.

When can we finally start expecting the car buyers to be accountable for accepting these loan rates?

VIR is certainly the kindest track for brakes. My pads lasted at least 2 times as long as at Summit even though I was putting down more miles. All brakes have a limit to where they’re not going to get any hotter before they stop working though. I even agree that Tesla has typical US car maker 1/2 assery.

Agreed that 100->30 is common on track but not within 10-15 seconds and repeat. The shorter track I normally run on is 1:30-1:50 per lap so, you get a minute’s worth of cooling between each heavy brake application.

The question is whether this is a viable test to determine if the car can do track days and I’d say it’s not. It’s pure abuse. No track day would have braking like this. Assuming a 1 mile track you’re spend most of the time driving with braking at the end of sections of the track with time for the brakes to cool in
