I never liked school. It was a miserable experience all around till I hit college. My son’s high school was like a minimum security prison. Everything locked down and controlled. This was well before covid too. I’m not sure the school “experience” is all it’s cracked up to be. 

We might need to question whether the youngest even need formal education. Exposing them to educational but fun video’s that teach indirectly might be enough till they get old enough to settle down a little.

I was expecting some sea change in education because of covid. The problem with remote learning is it would require one spouse to stay home and supervise. Schools are kid warehouses that teach on the side.

Even if you’re right, which I believe you are, it doesn’t matter. SUV’s have won. I can’t imagine buying another sedan. I could see buying a sports cars but, modern sedan’s are far from that.
