It’s more likely the buses just aren’t built very well.

Sure but money for who? Who’s losing out because a couple thousand oddball cars are imported into the US? Honda sells more CRV’s in a month than have ever been imported like this.
Antiques US cars meet the safety requirements for the years they were made. JDM cars don’t. Another issue is that the US mandated OBD2 for emissions and OBD2 emissions monitoring for all cars newer than ‘96. So, if you import an ‘96 JDM car, it doesn’t meet those standards. It doesn’t meet the side impact standards…
The combat is great. It’s meaty and visceral. A combination of shooting, swords and a special tractor beam capture and flesh explosions release. The level design is good and varied enough. The set pieces are nice. Like grappling a plane and fighting on the wings.
Then they should report the real range and not the battery damaging range?
Except as you reported, the range has dropped significantly?
GM was touring the modularity, lower cost, increased safety, and wireless BMS of Ultium, but apparently it is too-good for the Bolt
When I compare domestic to Japanese makes, the one thing that stands out for me is “give a shit”. The Domestics at some level just seem to want to pump it out the easiest and cheapest way they can get away with but don’t give a shit at a deep level. It’s one reason the Japanese tend to be behind the curve with new car…
I find it difficult to blame GM for this. It’s really an LG problem that GM inherited. I’m just not sure how GM could have anticipated that one in ever 10,000 battery cells is manufactured wrong.
I was hoping it would mean I could buy one cheap but that doesn’t seem to be the case. There don’t seem to be many to buy.
Maybe they should rate it in “trips to the dealer”. From my perspective any trips to the dealer, ANY signify the car is probably going to be problematic. Going to the dealer for a replacement infotainment system is just as annoying as going in for another drive unit replacement. The cost is hidden from the customer…
I agree. People did things when I was kid. Me included that would get you arrested for hate crimes these days. Things aren’t perfect today but they’re sure a hell of a lot better than they were. It’s why I’m sympathetic with BLM. They got a raw deal and are still getting a raw deal if statistics are to be believed.
My takeaway from that story is avoid gas or oil fired appliances. My neighbors almost died like that when their flue collapsed and they didn’t notice.
Yeah. Pick a car because you like the car. Not because someone else likes or hates it.
Haha the “oh shit!” face.
This is what I was thinking too. If the hit is hard enough to get into the “gigacast” part, it’s probably damaged the battery too. The battery is 1/2 the cost of the car.
This increases the chances of a tire having a catastrophic blowout when it’s punctured or becomes unseated.
It’s more recognizing that mixing up slow bicycles and fast cars in the same stretch of road is inherently dangerous.” INHERENTLY.
Biggest problem with the RDX is Honda’s infotainment system. It’s good car otherwise. Slow, not intuitive. Poorly integrates with Carplay.
You’re a fuckwit if you think banning cyclists from roads is the solution to criminally negligent driving.
