Well, I taught my kids driving below the speed limit in fair weather conditions was rude to the people behind you.

He’s talking about the camera in his car. Which all new cars seem to have. They all have built in hidden cell phones too.

Except you then lose adaptive cruise control and nav.

The EU hates cars, has hated them for years so this is no shock. It’s going to be like “start/stop” where you could click a button and disable it till you clicked it again. Now it re-activates every time you start the car.

I was very impressed with how it stopped that car pretty much in its tracks.

Looks like the hit was right on the driver’s door.

My take is China is pushing west with infrastructure development so they can build trade lines into the EU that don’t go over the oceans. Because the US controls the oceans. It seems like a far sighted move. Not to compete with the US for ocean dominance but to work around the US power.

This is the old “buy a car for my kid” that just happens to be the car the dad wants to play with but can’t justify to the wife. I see it all the time. Instead of buying a sensible first car for the kid, a car the kid will probably have an accident with at least once, before he gets good at driving, he ends up with

The part I understand least about the attitude of the average white American to police brutality is the idea that they’re immune.

How many stops do we really need? Maybe limit it to speeding and running a stop sign/light. Things that are dangerous now. No equipment based stops at all. No stops for seat belts, brake lights, registration or inspections. All the cars have cameras now. Note the violation, send a ticket with a picture in the mail to

Awful to think that while police unions own a lot of the blame for the current relationship between this country and the police, they also can’t help their own.

We investigated ourselves and the officer involved didn’t violate policy so, this mur...shooting is deemed justified...

This is exactly how I feel about GTA, a classic I could pick up and replay at any time and Saints Row. Max Payne 3 is in that list for me too. As flawed as it is, I love the plot about the ugly American patsy going down to South America and being used by all sides.

I found GTA to simply be more fun. The writing was so much better. When the boys push Devon into the trunk of the car and shove it into the water and the music plays signaling the end. It was a real emotional moment for me. Just thinking about it makes me want to play again.

Cyberpunk 2077 for PC is and was one of the best GTA-likes ever made.

I’d argue Honda and Toyota want to be the best and don’t worry about not being the first. What has being first done for BMW? One of the first aluminum V8's in the US, which they had to recall almost 100% of and replace. One of the first with direct injection, which they had years of problems with because of injector

There have been and continue to be improvements in motors for EV’s. AC/DC brushless DC. Brushless DC seems to be the new Hotness. Mahle has a new brushless DC motor with no permanent magnets. The get a magnetic field by AC coupling voltage to the rotor then rectifying it and using it to generate the magnetic field.

and my 2004 had cranks.

They’re hard to come by around here. Prices seem to be creeping up too.

I believe the Element shares suspension with the same year CRV’s so, I’m kinda skeptical about parts availability issue. Honda’s are like Legos, you often find they share components with several other models.
