Most modern cars suck in air for the engine through the top area of the grill. They also typically have a drainage system in the intake to let water drain out before it goes into the engine (because of rain). So a little water for a short time through the grill won’t typically hurt anything but as the story points

Your reply about half being dumber than half and probably thinking you are superior implies that you are dumb and have no idea how IQ works.

My husband, on the other hand, is telling me that I should definitely be using premium in the Suburban because it’s an older, heavier car with a big engine. A running joke between the two of us is that every problem can be solved if you just spend more money, and that’s kind of where I’m falling on this debate.

I’ve never buy it simply because it’s so damned ugly. Lexus lost me as a customer when they introduced the predator grill and I’ve not seen anything to make me want to go back.

I could see this.  Their marketing is terrible. I have no idea what products they still sell in the US other than the Miata.  CX-what?  The model designations don’t seem to mean anything.

but unfortunately, it was mostly Ford running gear.

Yeah most of these guys are living in some fantasy land.  I love sporty cars for doing sport things but I’d rather DD something convenient. The rest of the US agrees with me too.  These guys act like the rise of CUV’s is some conspiracy by the car companies and can’t accept that CUV’s are simply what most people want

This was my first thought. That they’ve pared the bridge inspection team down to “Joe” and Joe simply can’t keep up.

My bet is then you driving down the road, accelerating and decelerating, your ratchet straps are stretching in both directions letting the wheels rock fore and aft. They’re not like chains which have little stretch to them.

I love subaru’s but this isn’t worth more than $1000 as it sits. Sure you could cobble it back together pretty cheap but if you want it looking nice, it’s going to be a $3000 repair. It’s the worst year for glass transmissions too.

Yeah. It’s not vibrations so much as the constant forward and backwards movement while in gear. It’s going to turn the motor over a little in both directions. Even with good straps, the cars move around a bit.

That’s all we need, more extra-judicial killing.  The cops are already more dangerous to your life than terrorists are.

The cops are supposed to stop bad things from happening. Not be part of the problem. The cars could have backed off the second the copter was on the scene.

I just assume the cops another fuck up.

Sure but the legend didn’t pretend to be sporty. It was Acuras answer to the LS400. 4200 lbs. That’s why my Odyssey weight.

I voted NP though I’d have preferred the V8. I’d have to do a thorough rust inspection first. Wouldn’t cost that much to get the seats recovered with some nice leather. A GX470 would be a good alternative too.

I’m a Honda “stan” too but this metric is bullshit

I’m fine with defining 18 as the age of “adult” and giving them the vote.  We need to be full in though. Adult is Adult. It’s not training-wheels adult till we turn 21.

I wondered why the ACLU hasn’t challenged it too.
