NO MORE METAPHORS!

I fully expected Nakamura to win and Corbin to cash in and pin him immediately after.

Thanks, I'll be sure to check it out!

Seriously. I read Cageside Seats for the news but I can't stand their opinion stuff. The last straw for me was the the "You shouldn't boo Roman Reigns at live shows because some kids may like him and that may make them sad" opinion piece they posted a couple months ago.

Like I said to you and LaToya on Twitter last night, I really love the community here and enjoyed reading your work each week on these reviews, Kyle. The AV Club is losing a lot by dropping their wrestling coverage. I think everyone did an outstanding job covering wrestling with respect and care, engaging with it in a

I have a friend who only drinks water or Coke Zero. I feel bad for the poor guy who now has his options cut in half.

I'm assuming too that Corbin will end up in the match at Summerslam, but I think Cena will too. While I thought their Battleground match stunk, I thought Corbin and Nakamura actually clicked pretty well last night. If they can keep it up, they might actually develop a decent little feud.

I loved last night's Smackdown. It felt like they suddenly knew what they were doing again. The return of Y2J added a lot to the show, the main event was excellent, and honestly I really dug the Corbin vs Nakamura rematch. It felt like they both realized their match on Sunday was a stinker and they went the extra mile

As much as I don't like Roman, he has been involved in some matches that have been good, especially when he's paired up with a good opponent like AJ Styles, or a good team member. Jinder has yet to show that he can anything of note.

It's insane to me that guys like Kevin Owens, AJ Styles, Nakamura, Rusev, and even Dolph Ziggler aren't regularly involved in the Smackdown world title picture. You could probably drag decent matches out of Orton with those guys, but instead we're stuck with a vacuum sealed tube of meat like Jinder as a champ.

Sigh.

Exactly!

I hope that even if they are faces, Gallows and Anderson still call people nerds. I can't explain why, but them saying it like an evil jock from the Revenge of the Nerds amuses me greatly.

I had the realization when I was watching the show that the Punjabi Prison just seems to be the old blue cage from the 80's spray-painted to look like bamboo. This says something about how abysmal the match was when I care far more about the paint job on the unruly obstruction that is that cage more than anyone

To answer the Jason Jordan question posed in the article, I can't help but shake the idea that this whole story-line was never really the plan and that they got nervous about pulling the trigger on whatever Kurt Angle's dark secret was supposed to be. It seems like someone on the creative staff thought Jason Jordon

I always took the message of South Park as being "people are human, and everyone is capable of going too far." They obviously have cared about a lot of things over the past 20 years of making the show, and you can see how many of their points of view have changed over time and will continue to evolve as the show keeps

That happened to me recently when I saw Baby Driver.

Consider yourself lucky. I've had such wonderful experiences like a group of teenagers getting into a fist fight at The Ring, a group of drunk ladies at It Follows who felt the need to heckle the movie from the first scene, preteen girls sitting in the front row taking selfies during Argo with the flash on,

I saw, and I also saw how much saggier he is since the last time he was on TV.

I was legitimately shocked that Aiden English won. I'm glad they gave them time and they got to take advantage of it. It was the second best match of the night behind the New Day vs Usos match as far as I'm concerned.
