You have my sympathies. I've played this game a few times and it's harder than any Dark Souls game.

I'm still beyond disappointed by what I've seen of the new God of War. It will probably be a perfectly respectable game, but I didn't play the previous God of War games to be respectable.

I concur. I would love to see a remake of Tomba with high quality HD 2D art. Someone get the people who remade Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap on this now!

I've heard the same thing, unfortunately. They haven't even teased the demon stuff since he returned either. Chalk him up to yet another awesome talent that Vince doesn't understand.

Unless their favorite franchise is Kid Icarus, yes, it probably is!

I would love it, but I honestly think the fact that Nintendo has never ceased-and-desisted the shit out of the fan translation and the merchandise being made by Fangamer is the closest Nintendo is ever going to come to localizing Mother 3.

Seriously, this. I honestly think there's been a ton of high quality Japanese titles on the market that have been unfairly ignored over the past few years, but to see so many attention grabbing titles make people stand up and take notice this year makes me very happy.

They probably did, but the attach rate between Breath of the Wild and the Switch being higher than 100% shows that one game itself can really move a system if it's good enough.

I skipped Far Cry 4, because I never finished 3 or Blood Dragon, and skipped Primal because even fake hunting in video games turns me off a lot, but I'm really looking forward to 5. They have plenty of material to work with that setting and theme, and I'm interesting in seeing what they plan on doing with it.

1. That NieR Automata was as well received as it was. I loved the original and a sequel being made was surprising enough. I never expected it to be a big success and hailed as one of the best games of the year by mainstream audiences and critics alike. I knew I would love it, but I fully expected it to be yet another

The games have delightful soundtracks for sure. Glad you're enjoying it. Play Lunar: Silver Star Story if you haven't already, as well.

That's what a map is for!

I feel like the only person in the universe who had zero problems fishing in NieR.

The Lunar games are excellent (with the exception of the weird DS one). Are you playing the Sega CD or PlayStation/Saturn version?

Exactly. My wife and I look forward to Breezango's segments every week, because Tyler and Fandango are very obviously committed to their incredibly silly characters.

Yeah, but people figured it out immediately and it ended up all over the internet. I would bet that's the only reason the WWE even hinted at the leaked videos.

I never would have thought that I would want Baron Corbin and his 8 greasy hairs as World Champion, but I would take that in a second over Jinder Mahal, his back acne, and his 1 anti-American promo from the mid-80's being allowed to hold it for another month.

Her showing up on TNA (GWF?) TV this past weekend probably didn't help her any.

I'm going to give it some more time, because I've heard good things from people I trust, but if it doesn't click with me I may just go back to finish up Night in the Woods. I know its a different type of game, but if I'm going to play a game about awkward young adults, I'd rather go with the one I find more relatable

I'm on the first chapter, and as a guy who spent a lot of time in art classes during my school years, the kids all kind of remind of me of people who drove me nuts back then. I like that it's a lot more interactive than Telltale Games' recent output, though.
