Did I say that? Anime is literally just animation, and part of their creative output. And there's good and bad, just like anything else. To denounce it all as bullshit is silly.

Maybe this is too harsh of me, but I find the instant disregard for anime as "bullshit" almost kind of racist. There's good and bad work coming from all corners of the world, but to specifically call out one country's creative output as bullshit we need to tolerate comes off as really closed minded to me.

I'll agree with you and this assessment. I feel like a weirdo whenever I talk to anyone about Rogue One because I felt it was deeply flawed movie that I would have most likely skipped entirely if it wasn't a Star Wars movie, yet it's getting such raves from nearly everyone I know.

Well, thanks for clicking on the article anyway, increasing traffic to it and ensuring that it stays up there longer, I guess?

Then don't read it. You don't have to.

I would actually consider at least watching one of these things if they seriously committed to that level of accuracy.

Awesome to see the wrestling fandom grow on the AV Club with NJPW reviews! Kenny Omega is one of the best in the world, and I think he's well on his way to his current goal of being a megastar that simply doesn't need WWE.

I was happy to finally make Keyboard Geniuses once this year. I hope it happens again next year! I gotta step up my game!

Shovel Knight is solid gold.

The real problem with his restaurant is the owner leaving these giant cartoon bottles of poison out in the open!

It took me something like three hours to create my wrestler for the main career mode since the options are so ridiculously in-depth. I still find myself going back and tweaking him a bit nearly every time I play!

Oh man, I lost it at the vikings and the crimewave at the mini-mart!

You kind of have to roll with Inside. It will not explain a thing to you, and it will get very weird. It's one of my personal favorites of the year because of it, honestly. I like the ambiguity.

I got Final Fantasy XV, which I'm already in love with, even though I have only played it for a couple hours so far, Shin Megami Tensei IV, which I had originally skipped for its spinoff (and my personal game of the year) Apocalypse, and Kirby: Planet Robobot, which I have not yet had a chance to try out, but looks

Absolutely, 100%, without a doubt AJ Styles. He has been on fire since his debut at the Royal Rumble, and has consistently put on Match of the Year quality matches at every PPV event. He makes everyone he wrestles look like a million bucks, even dragging amazing matches out of Roman Reigns, who I can't stand to watch

I wish they would just let Vince have all of his favorites on Raw and let Smackdown have everyone else. That way, Vince could get his weird, outdated dream show without wasting so much of the great current talent.

Because it's a popular, ongoing TV show. And the reviews have been going for over a year or so, with a pretty great community who likes the discuss the shows in the comments. Go read another article if you don't like it.

I'm impressed by Alexa Bliss' double jointed arm act. I legitimately thought that she got her arm popped out of its socket.

Saw Gerrera. The movie teases that he is too extreme, even for the rebels. I thought they were actually going to go somewhere with that. He shows up, looking like the rebel version of Darth Vader, and I was really excited to see where they would go with it. The extent the movie takes this is that one mind-octopus

I liked Donnie Yen's friend with all the heavy blasters, but this is another problem I had with the movie, I literally can't remember anyone's character names; None of the characters really stood out enough to me to make me remember.
