Fox just doesn't want to commit to Science Wizard Robot Dictator. I thought we were finally at the point studio's would be more comfortable being that comic-booky after Marvel Studios proved you can get away with stuff like that, but I guess not. It's sad because Dr. Doom is Marvel's best villain.

Every trailer shows The Thing having the personality of rock. He looks boring, when The Thing should be a lovable lug.

I very much believe that the core ideal of Superman is uplifting positivity in the face of adversity, so I personally find the idea of dark Superman immensely awful.

The best FF stories are the crazy pop sci-fi Jack Kirby-influenced stuff, and I want to see that. Some characters aren't meant to be shrouded in shadow.

That's definitely my biggest concern. They're all hugely talented but even that's not always enough to overcome terrible storylines that always seem to boil down to "Bitches be crazy."
