Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) he only commented on those threads and both of them got enough replies not to prove it any way - I just know that when I was in the grays and replied to someone who pulled me out, if I made another comment in another thread I was then black. They may have

Real talk: it’s because someone who’s in the black responded to one of their comments, so all future comments are in the black automatically for this article. They’ll go back to being gray on other articles.

So in other words, rely on everyone else to do the heavy lifting so you can be lazy, and then just hope that it all works itself out.

Except people literally take OCD less seriously because they think it’s about arranging pens and shit.

I...never said I agree with the friendzone as a term, which is kind of exactly what I’m saying. That even if you don’t agree with it, even if you think it doesn’t exist, even if you think it’s a damaging concept...when someone says the word “friendzone”, you know what it means and it doesn’t just mean “that person

What makes me sad is that other mental illnesses often get the same treatment. People joke about a bad experience giving them PTSD. People joke about how they’re so totally depressed because they got sad for an hour.

Part of the reason it feels minor is because of all the mockery that has led up to this, completely trivializing a mental illness to the point where jokes about it have become, to people who don’t bother to listen to the voices of those hurt by it, boring and commonplace.

I’m not a gray so hopefully my response pulls you up.

I used to be so scared in laser tag that when I turned a corner and saw a mirror I would shoot it, reflecting the laser and shooting myself. Hilarious now, terrifying then.

Not sure what you mean, that there were no author discussions and this one was the first one in “all discussions”?

Did an author star your post? The truncated comment threads are based on who starred posts, not how many. Just like you can get 200 stars and remain gray, or have one star pull you into the black - because the 200 were all gray themselves and the one star was from an already approved commenter.

Now playing

It completely captures the earnestness of the actual story and retains ALL the hilarity.

Did you see the feature-length movie they made out of that one?! IT’S AMAZING

For some lucky people their passion happens to coincide with something they can make a semi-decent living doing.

You are endangering the person who makes a turn and sees someone in oncoming traffic when they didn’t expect to due to double yellow lines and swerves on instinct, running off the road or into an obstacle on the side of the road.

What an ironic name.

You’re the one conflating assault with violent.

So you believe the person being victimized has the responsibility to “compassionately” tell their assailant not to assault them, and put themselves at risk for further retaliation. There’s a reason why, if you have a gun pointed at you and you give someone your wallet, you were still robbed and no one says “it’s your

What makes you think that “many women don’t encounter” violent threats after turning down men? Considering 1 in 6 women have experienced sexual assault in their lives, which does not include any kind of non-sexual domestic abuse, verbal abuse, catcalling, threats from rejection, I think you’re living in a fantasy

Teach aggressors to react appropriately when people do. Maybe then victims won’t be terrified of something worse happening if they react negatively in a very vulnerable situation.
