The fact that you know offhand so much about this contestant makes me really happy. You keep on keepin on.

Going to a bike shop for coffee sounds like you belong in some perfect TV show. Seriously.
One is perpetuating the sexist idea that society has a right to women's bodies, and the other is documenting the unconscious attitude of many men to take up as much room as possible without considering the women in their vicinity.
These are not girls, these are women. Please don't call grown adults "girls".
The comment he made was at 4AM Eastern time. You replied at 8:30AM Eastern time. Gee, I wonder why people weren't replying? Maybe because the main readership of Jezebel is American and it was the middle of the fucking night in America.
Algebra is your example of high-level math? Algebra is adding.
I don't get your first paragraph. I am pro phone calls on trains, but the idea that not answering the phone is a ridiculous thought is really strange to me. Do you feel that way if you get called at work? I'm a university student, should I use that excuse to answer the phone in class?
Where in the world are you that you see enough bikes to make gender comparisons and also enough to judge single women bikes vs. married women bikes? Usually university campuses are where bikes are all the time, but there are few married people on those campuses so you can't really make a single women judgment there.
The author is most certainly NOT suggesting sexism. There is nothing in this article that suggests sexism; all it suggests is that there are a lot of stock photos of women standing next to bikes, and that those pictures are silly when you think about them. Where is your "without a doubt" evidence?
Did they really knock the guy for not knowing how to pronounce Achilles? That's kinda fucked up.
Do you ever have an issue with this? I'm going through a situation now where my long-term boyfriend's friend "introduced" herself to me years ago by convincing my boyfriend to break up with me (temporarily). She recently apologized because he wants us to be friends and he didn't realize that I was still upset over it,…
What...what in the world? Was this a reply to a different person? My comment has nothing to do with what you're saying.
Isn't there a Jez fund to do things like this??? If not, WHY NOT
If someone said I was too racist to do something I did, I would want to prove that person wrong too. It's not about racism, but about human defensiveness; when you're told you wouldn't do something and you have done it, then the natural urge is to prove the person wrong; it's increased by the implication that you…
Technically correct, missing the point/joke.
O...kay. Maybe direct that comment to someone who said that then.
Even that name is too complicated. It's just a grilled ham and cheese. Nothing special.
Somehow I don't think you know the reference I was making if you follow it with "except he's right".
Age is also an indicator of HOW MUCH YOUR BRAIN HAS DEVELOPED. Do you think that 12 years olds have the same brains as 35 year olds?
Body shots and dog treats. Sounds deadly to me!
