Michelle's boyfriend Mike!!!
Michelle's boyfriend Mike!!!
I definitely do agree on that - when it comes to relationships, much of the details of relationships can't be 'unspoken rules' because those don't fall under the umbrella of social norms. Rules in certain relationships maybe, but they have to reach the spoken stage or else they do become weird and baffling. :)
I do agree that there is a line between norms and reading-mind rules, I was just disagreeing with the idea that unspoken agreements in general are a "weird concept". It might be weird to expect that your boyfriend will bring you your favorite bathrobe and a juicy steak when you're depressed, but it's not weird to…
Unspoken agreements really aren't weird at all. We deal with probably thousands of them a day - it's expected, but not spoken, that I go through the line before I order food. It's expected that I don't stand in open doorways, blocking paths. It's expected that I start and end emails with particular greetings and…
To put this into perspective: that amount would be achieved (roughly) by having a mixed (half black) grandparent. Not some distant relative or something here.
I don't know, I wouldn't expect Charmin to know about one page of one comic that has a throwaway joke about Asgard that isn't related to the plot, and I'm not sure anyone can claim "ownership" over a pun.
Well, the pun is probably a little offensive to the kid-friendly image they usually have too. Ass-guardian?
Plus no paying anyone from Marvel for licensing!
I think it's definitely possible to lessen/waive punishments for bystanders that help a passed out person or people reporting assaults. My own school does that for alcohol poisoning, although I've never had to take advantage of that myself - my rector when I lived on-campus was very strict about the alcohol rules of…
Yes, I'm so disappointed with the fact that I can't use a camera one-handed that I'm going to give up everything else I like about the phone to get one that's smaller.
Notice how even in an article about a woman going gray, he still manages to refer to her as a "girl".
No, that's not how racism works - ignoring people only makes them think that it's appropriate to voice those opinions and that no one cares. If you say nothing, make no mention that this is unacceptable behavior, then the racism continues. Ignoring racism is super helpful to white people - it means they get to go on…
I find it amusing that you consider slightly moving a pinky to hit a "caps lock" key as "insanely Caps locked". Do you have to scream at your computer and spend 10 hours ranting about the injustice of whatever you want to caps before your computer allows you to press that precious key?
What in the world are you on about? I can use my point and shoot camera just fine with one hand. Because it has a button on the top that I can press to take a picture, not a touch button in the middle that means I can't use the finger taking the picture to also balance it. People don't complain about it because that's…
Because I carry things in my other hand, like a purse. Or because I'm holding my boyfriend's hand. Or because I'm trying to take a picture of something I'm holding, or my fingernails or a new ring.
I'm not sure it would be that bad - I'm going to assume that this is a special car for celebrities because otherwise wtf are the odds of those two sitting next to each other?
Volume up/down are zoom keys. I have considered downloading an app camera, but since that's my only beef with the built-in camera I'm not sure it's worth the effort.
While I agree that the journalim tack was a little silly, I have to point out that the issue with the phones isn't so much the size alone. I can use my Samsung S3 just fine until I go to take a picture - because of the way the button is set up on those phones, if your hands aren't big enough it's nearly impossible to…
Uh...that does not solve the problem whatsoever. In fact, it's so far off that I'm not even sure you read the article.
You're right! I failed, hahaha.
