I kind of teared-up when Dany’s dragon sort of surrounded and dragon-hugged her when she was crying over Jorah’s body. It was sweet.

Recall that just before Jon & Dany went to battle, they had an awkward conversation about who is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne, so yeah, viewers aren’t supposed to forget that what’s next on the to-do list.

Because magic, I think.  The Wall is as much magic as it is ice.  There is some quality to the blue fire of the dragon wight that interfered with the magic in the Wall.  In the books, there was a horn that would do the same thing but the show has never introduced it.

May 31st is going to be a banner day in the PROL household.  I’m going to see the Dead Milkmen for the first time in 25 years and now the Deadwood movie! So much joy in one little 24 hour period!

This happened to me for the first time a couple of months ago. We ordered in lunch from a local place that sells what they call “Great Balls of Fire” which is is basically a habenero fritter. It comes with a dipping sauce that is more habeneros pureed in vinegar.

To be honest, I don’t think they’re really “focusing” on it since nothing has ever been said out loud and it doesn’t seem to be affecting anyone’s actual behavior or decisions. It was just a couple of little moments of emotion for Tyrion.  We’ll see if something comes of it in the future, but I hope to the gods it…

I’ve read people interpreting that as jealousy - that Tryrion himself has the hots for Dany so seeing her with Jon bothers her.
