Ew.
Ew.
I went to a local theatre with an adults-only balcony so once the people next to me stopped eating popcorn, I stopped noticing the other people in the theater entirely. Until the end, when people down in the cheap seats were laughing.
Why is it relevant that they are “cougars” and what does the wine have to do with it?
It wasn’t as scary as I’d been led to believe. That said, I saw it yesterday afternoon and for the rest of the day I had more generalized anxiety than I would have ordinarily.
I had a similar experience - I had to re-read the headline on Oregonlive.com about six times before my brain would accept what it was seeing.
Horseshit. And I say that as a person who hates Trump.
At least you aren’t ashamed by your utter lack of empathy. I guess that’s something.
So I’m only three episodes into reading these reviews (though I’m current watching the 3rd season.) Does the reviewer ever manage to review this show without referencing Transparent? If so, how many episodes does it take? I ask because I haven’t watched Transparent and I really don’t care in what ways this show…
I wish people would quit with the Game of Thrones comparisons. The only thing the two shows have in common is that they’re about a bunch of people jockeying for power and are willing to murder people in the process.
Oh absolutely. She has systematically undone everything that made her face interesting.
She was really pretty - her face had actual character.
Again, that would be lame.
Something I read on another site* the other day: When Jeffrey Wright is wearing a vest, he is Bernard. When he is not, he is Arnold. I don’t know if that holds up across the board because I’d have to go back and re-watch everything.
Yes, definitely. And it’s why I bum out when the AV Club doesn’t do reviews or recaps of all of my shows.
Because I’m weird, I was thinking about this as I was going to sleep last night - her hair was WAY too nice for someone chained up in a cave for at least days.
To clarify, I don’t mean that you would be lame. I just think that having the character actually shaking from fear would be lame.
I’m not convinced that is actually the case. Why bother having a character with right hand tremors distinct from the exact same kinds of right hand tremors found in malfunctioning hosts? The other characters assumed that it was fear, because that is the explanation that fit the known circumstances. However, we know…
I’ll have to manhandle my cat some when I get home tonight.
That should be “I’m sorry.” Cripes.
Yeah, I’m - I must have been cranky that day. You were more polite to me than I deserved.
