The first couple years there was a fixed rear window/no backseat “Prices Starting At_” special
That’s how the trunk lids on the classic Minis open.
In my childhood, I only ever remember seeing the trunk option with the external hinges. I guess everyone who bought one was a cheapskate or they did not bother offering it in Europe. Always liked those big taillights with the chrome accents, especially in black.
Trunk version; this was the cheapskate special. It cost a fairly good whack, at least $100 in 1970s dollars, less than the hatchback. You’d find the same phenomenon at the Ford dealer down the street if you were looking at the Pinto. These were also the lightest and stiffest version although the difference only really…

I expect farmers to disassemble their cows and hogs, preferably near a smoke pit, to keep them from traumatizing my car every day.
fond memories of the Emu War, wherein the Australian army took on their feral hog-analogues and lost
Yeah. Exactly. They knew EARLY about the rapid progression-forward-of-center-of-lift-upon-pitch. That should have been a deal-breaker in the first project stages... Instead, enabled by managers-intent-on-production-over-safety, they pushed forward with a brain-dead “control system” that isn’t a control system.
Quite to the contrary - an older model plane that has been tried and tested, that mechanics are familiar with and pilots trust, is much safer than a plane that behaves unpredictably and is unfamiliar to those operating it.
I mean, it probably is. How many crashes are associated with the -200s that are caused by the plane itself in the past 20 years? Vs the MAX’s?
Nope because the neighbors probably all think the same and who needs to spend their $$ to be in an uncomfortable living space. Run ...
The last paragraph of the article sums that up nicely. For anyone who has an inkling of what’s going on from looking at the torque curve on the dyno chart, that is exactly what you want to see on an engine in a large truck that’s intending to tow or haul heavy stuff.
Dallara almost defunct? But I just saw 36 Dallaras in Indiana this past May...
Today, I hope all of you with important office jobs can keep this image on your computer screens, or, ideally, work it into projected PowerPoint decks. Be sure to let everyone know that you’re working, dammit, and if you don’t carefully study AMC’s 1978 model lineup, who will? The chump bothering you? I don’t think so.
Ha! But holy shit how much are you over-working to pay for housing? :)

Robinson’s absence from HomeStoryCup 19 was one of the throughlines of the weekend. From the coverage it was clear, even to those new to StarCraft2, how big a part of the community he was and how well regarded.
Robinson was always a larger than life personality — certainly during his days as a pro player, but…
Oh....don’t give them any ideas to add more C8 content. What’s the over/under on 6 posts next week?
Having watched Episodes 1-6 on TV this weekend, I actually think Episode I might be the best prequel by virtue of not having quite as horrendous acting as the next two episodes and also not looking quite as cartoonish since they still used some real sets and less CG. Sure, it’s got Jar Jar and terrible kid Anakin but…
